Emily Shuel (Jim Hawkins) made her "royal" debut at SSR two years ago as the Dancing Princess, and is thrilled to be back playing quite a different character! Emily has performed at Book-It Repertory, StoryBook, Taproot, ACT and other theaters around town. Additionally, she tours with Taproot's improv team year around. After playing Jack in "Jack and the Beanstalk," a brother in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat," and the Minstrel in "Once Upon a Mattress," she's getting pretty good at playing boys. She's inspired daily by nannying two wonderful little boys, and has learned a lot from her husband, a man with a heart of gold (the kind pirates could never touch). Emily especially enjoys performing for children and is grateful to her parents for introducing her to theater at a young age.

David Bailey (Billy Bones/Smollett/Long John Silver/Pirate) is thrilled on so many levels to be making his SSR debut in Treasure Island! David's been seen at many theaters over the years. Local Eastside patrons may have seen him at Woodinville Rep, or Evergreen Family Theatre. Others may have caught him onstage at Phoenix Theatre, in Edmonds or, most recently, at Stone Soup Theatre in Seattle. As a Children's Theatre grad from the UW a loooooooong time ago, this will be a chance to return to an audience that he loves the most! "The kids are so honest and appreciative! If you're not doing your job well, they'll eat you alive, but a spontaneous hug from a child as they're leaving a show ... the best thing any actor could ask for!” Thanks to all involved in this show for allowing me to be here and play with them, and thanks to you, the SSR patrons, for joining us. Adrian Cerrato (Black Dog/Dr. Livesey/Pirates) is honored to be returning to SecondStory Rep and to be working again with some friendly, familiar faces. Adrian was previously seen at SSR as the Dad in Knuffle Bunny, the Beast in Charles Way's Beauty and the Beast and as Misha in the Dancing Princess. Adrian received his BA in Drama from the University of Washington.

Jason Philip Hay (Mother/Trelawney/Ben Gunn/Flint/Pirates) is a Seattle stage, film, television and web actor, and voiceover artist. He most recently appeared in The Velveteen Rabbit right here at SSR and prior to that in the Baylight Dinner Theatre production of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play,’ in a number of roles ranging from Clarence to Harry to Sam to Martini. This is Jason’s second show with SSR, and he is extremely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a fun an exciting ensemble of theater professionals.
