Katie Moya (Cinderella) is thrilled to be making her SSR debut in Cinderella! She very recently returned to the Seattle area after living and working in Asia for two years at Hong Kong Disneyland, where she was a principal vocalist in both The Golden Mickeys (Belle) and The Welcome Wagon Show (Miss Kitty). Katie studied Musical Theater at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles, California and spent many of her summers in High School at The 5th Avenue Theater's Summer Programs. So much love to family and friends here at home and across the ocean in Hong Kong!



Kyla Roberts (Jeanette) is excited to join the cast of Cinderella in her first SecondStory Repertory production! Her favorite recent roles include Polly in The Boy Friend, Chava in Fiddler on the Roof, Edwin Drood in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Cosette in Les Miserables. Kyla studied classical voice at the University of Puget Sound and graduated with an Economics/Spanish degree. When she’s not performing, she works for Amazon.com. She would like to thank Tae for her continual support.



Samantha Victor (Babbette) most recently performed in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying (Village Theatre: Kidstage). This summer she got to play a leather apron in an all-female cast of 1776 (Reboot Theater). In the past she has played Ensemble in Jack and the Beanstalk (Centerstage), Alice in Who Stole the Queen of Heart's Tarts? (Last Leaf Productions), and Peter in Peter Pan (Applause Players). She is very excited to be playing a vain stepsister and hopes you will enjoy the show!



Morgan Deitkus (Stepmother) is thrilled to be in her first production with SecondStory Repertory. She was last seen in Seattle Musical Theatre's production of A Funny Thing... as Philia. Past credits include Nancy in Oliver!, Martha Jefferson in 1776, Cathy in The Last Five Years, and Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical the Musical. She is a proud graduate of Illinois State University with a B.S. in Acting, and proud alum of The Boston Conservatory's M.M. Musical Theater Program. When she's offstage she enjoys being a much nicer mother to her real children, Magnolia and Domenic. She thanks them, and her wonderful husband, Jason, for their endless support and love.



Nicholas Edmondson (Prince) is a local Seattle actor who has held a passion for all things performance his whole life. He has been involved with local commercials, short films, plays, musicals, and battle of the band competitions. In his free time he enjoys recording original music and is fluent at piano and guitar. Some of his more recent acting credits include Shoreline Community College's rendition of Big Fish, Sound Theatre Company's ...And Jesus Moonwalks the Mississippi, and was even featured as a dancer in AWOLNATION's official music video for "Hollow Moon" who have been one of his favorite artists for several years now. He really likes to brag about that last one.



Mary Hould (Fairy Godmother) is thrilled to be back onstage at SecondStory for Cinderella! You may have seen her last spring as Mrs. Pinkerton in SecondStory's Pinkalicious. Some of her favorite previous roles include Nancy Drew in STAGERight's Calling Nancy Drew, and Erica (and secret audience member!) in Theater Schmeater's Game Show. Mary also loves performing as a Dickens Caroler during the Christmas season. When she's not performing, she works as a Sign Language Interpreter around the community. Mary wishes to thank YOU for supporting local theater!



MEET THE PRODUCTION TEAM



Patricia Haines-Ainsworth (Director) is honored and excited to have ‘Cinderella’, her fourth play for young audiences, to be performed at SecondStory Rep. In March, SecondStory produced ‘Treasure Island’. Again, it has been a pleasure to work with Terence Levitt as musical collaborator. Or goal was to give a new feel to this classic story while still keeping the familiar story intact. My thanks to Jen and Mark for this wonderful set, to a very talented cast, Abigail, and to my family for their support. Pat is a playwright, actor, and graphic artist who lives in Snohomish, WA. She most recently performed the role of Ben Franklin in Reboot’s all-female production of “1776” and as an actor in Seattle’s 14/48 festival.



Abigail Pishaw (Stage Manager) is delighted to be back at SSR after stage managing Next to Normal in February! A Starbucks barista by day and stage/production manager by night, she has worked with Ghost Light Theatricals, Sound Theatre Company, Taproot Theatre Company, and Theater Schmeater. Next up: Abigail is super excited to fall down the rabbit hole and stage manage her favorite tale, Alice in Wonderland here at SecondStory. Laurie Roberts (Costume Designer) has costumed numerous shows at SecondStory and is very excited to be here to help kick off Season 17 with this classic fairy tale. She has been a costume designer for twelve years and her work was last seen in Pinkalicious the Musical and Next to Normal. She has designed shows for as many as 150 characters at Bellevue Youth Theatre where she works as a volunteer costume designer and mentor. She loves the variety working at SecondStory brings both designing for the Theater for Young Audiences and the Mainstage productions. Her work will next be seen this Fall in Little Shop of Horrors.
