Kristin Burch (Elle Woods) OMG Snaps! Kristin is beyond thrilled and extremely grateful to be back on the SSR stage playing one of her dream roles, Elle Woods! Devon Allen (Nikos/Ensemble) is very excited to be returning to SSR and this show! Legally Blonde is one of his all time favorites and he's very anxious to bring the show to you! Tadd Morgan (Emmett) is elated to be a part of this fantastic production! He was last seen on SSR's stage in Go, Dog. Go!, and has also performed with Annex Theatre, Seattle Musical Theatre, Theater Schmeater, Twelfth Night Productions and many others. You can next see Tadd this August in Pork Filled Production's The Tumbleweed Zephyr, and hear his voice on Battleground Production's steampunk serial Brass, as well as in video games and commercials.

Hayley Ewerz (Brooke) is proud to be making her debut at SecondStory Repertory! Born and raised in Dallas, she spent seven years performing with Garland Summer Musicals and other surrounding theatres in the DFW area before moving to Seattle two years ago. Since then, she has been very fortunate to work with Renton Civic Theatre, Driftwood Players, Seattle Musical Theatre, and regularly perform with The Dinner Detective. Favorites: Jolene (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Kathy (Singin’ in the Rain), and Hedy (How to Succeed…). Love to her husband, family, and friends!

Tatum Ludlam (Serena) is positively pumped to make her SSR debut in one of her favorite shows! She has worked at Village Theatre, Balagan Theatre, SMT, Studio East and is thrilled to be studying musical theater at the University of Oklahoma come fall (Go Sooners!). Krista Johnson (Margot) is so excited to be back at SSR and playing one of her favorite roles, Margot! Britt Boyd (Paulette) is delighted to bend and snap her way back onto SecondStory's mainstage, where she's appeared in A Christmas Carol, Chess, La Cage Aux Folles, A Little Night Music and Urinetown. Other favorite local credits include The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods (Seattle Musical Theatre), Mrs. Armstrong in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Seattle Public Theatre) and Martha in The Secret Garden (Kitsap Forest Theater). She has also performed locally with Village Theatre, ACT, Living Voices, Theater Schmeater and STAGEright. For my own Paulette, the indomitable Auntie Tina.

Natalie Anne Moe (Enid Hoopes) A graduate of Northwestern University's Musical Theater program, Natalie is thrilled to be working/playing in her hometown of Seattle. Favorite roles include Irene Molloy in The Matchmaker (Taproot Theatre) and Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady (Centerstage Theatre). Up next: Thomas Jefferson in Reboot Theatre's all female production of 1776.

Brynne Geiszler (Vivienne) is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts with a BFA in Theater. Local Credits: Miss Delilah Strict - Zombie Prom (SSR), Jo - Little Women, Judy Bernly - 9 to 5 (TMP), Cat in the Hat - Seussical (ACP), Fairy Sugarsnap - Jack and the Beanstalk (Centerstage). Legally Blonde is her fourth show with SSR and she is thrilled and humbled to be working with such a fantastic cast and crew. Endless amounts of love to family and friends, but especially and always, to Michael.

Stephanie Graham (Judge/Ensemble) is so psyched to debut at SSR in Legally Blonde, and honored to serve as dance captain for this incredible cast and crew! As a Seattle native, Stephanie loves performing around the Puget Sound, most recently at Seattle Musical Theatre in Sweet Charity (Carmen) and Rocky Horror Show (Magenta). Steph studied Musical Theater at Tisch School of the Arts (NYU), and is looking forward to choreographing Addams Family (Summer Teen Musical) for Renton Civic Theatre this summer. She would like to thank her dad, mom & sis, friends (especially the woo girls!), and all her Delta Nus! SNAPS!!!

Matt Wolfe (Director) is thrilled to return to SecondStory to direct. Past shows include The Fantasticks and Man of La Mancha. Matt also works as an actor. He appeared in the Broadway premiere of Scandalous, the national tour of Hello, Dolly! with Sally Struthers, and appears frequently at the 5th Avenue, Village Theatre, and Seattle Children's Theatre. Love to Bryan.

Kate Kingery (Choreographer) is tickled pink by this opportunity to choreograph Legally Blonde and to work with this outstanding production team and stellar cast! After being introduced to dance and musicals as a child in Denver, Kate followed her passion for music to Carleton College (MN), dance to Chicago, and ultimate frisbee to Seattle where she plays with and captains the top women's team, Seattle Riot! Favorite Choreography Projects: La Cage Aux Folles, Chicago, & How To Succeed (SSR), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (SMT), & Shake It Off (Riot & Team USA for WCBU 2015). Special thanks to my housemates (for all the late night treats and inspirational notes), Dave (for dealing with many late, late nights), plus my teammates and family for their boundless encouragement and support!

Jocelyne Fowler (Costume Designer) has designed for SecondStory Repertory (Chess: The Musical, Moon Over Buffalo, etc.), Book-It Repertory Theatre (Pride and Prejudice, Frankenstein, Anna Karenina, Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet), Seattle Shakespeare Company (Richard II), Wooden O (Two Gentlemen of Verona, Henry V and The Tempest), Bellevue College (Carnival, Into the Woods and Dead Man’s Cell Phone), Seattle Musical Theatre (Young Frankenstein and Legally Blonde), Youth Theatre Northwest (Little Shop of Horrors, Spring Awakening, Shrek: The Musical, Little Women, and The Sound of Music), Harlequin Productions (Clybourne Park, Jesus Christ Superstar), Vashon Opera (Werther, Die Fledermaus, and Eugene Onegin) and other local theaters. Upcoming work can be seen in Albert Herring at Vashon Opera, Henry IV with Wooden O, Witch of Blackbird Pond and Macbeth at Bellevue College.

Jen Chenovick (Light Design) Jen's theatrical career began in 2002 when she was asked to assistant stage manage The Importance of Being Ernest right here at SSR. Following her passion for theater Jen moved to Hollywood in 2005 where she stage managed for The Blank Theatre including the oddly satisfying Lobster Alice starring Noah Wylie and Nicholas Brendon. While in California, she also worked with Syzygy Theatre Group and the World Premiere of Tender, Abi Morgan’s trenchant drama of the human hunger for connection. Jen moved back to Redmond in 2007 and jumped right back into her work with SSR. During her eighteen plus years at SSR Jen has worn many hats, from stage manager to production manager to managing director and now light design. Special thanks to my parents, they’re pretty cool.

Mark Chenovick (Set Design/Technical Director) has been designing, building, and painting sets since the mid-eighties. Having the fortune to begin his theatrical career under the tutelage of Don McLaughlin in his hometown of Helena Montana, Mark continued his training at the University of Washington where he was accepted into the Graduate Design Seminar his sophomore year. With subsequent degrees in Art History and Drama, Mark went on to serve as technical director/designer for multiple organizations including: Virginia Musical Theatre, Fort Peck Summer Theatre, the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, Little Theater of the Rockies, and the Norfolk Governor’s School for the Arts. As Technical Director/Production Manager of the national tour of Anything Goes (starring Gloria Loring) Mark travelled around the United States and Canada realizing that there is no place quite as wonderful as the Pacific Northwest. Shortly after the turn of the millennium, and following a brief stint as a carpenter at The Studio Theatre in Washington D.C., he moved back to Seattle. Locally he has worked behind the scenes for the Village Theatre, Seattle Musical Theatre, Redwood Theatre, and, of course, SecondStory Repertory.


Mark Chenovick (Sound Design) I began my sound design journey splicing reel-to-reel tape together in the basement of the original Penthouse Theater on the University of Washington campus but it was my brief time in the MFA program at Utah State University, where I learned the joys of digital sound design, and subsequently, became hooked on sound design for life. Having provided composed and curated underscoring and soundscaping, original and sourced sound effects, and performance amplification services for multiple theaters across the US, I have felt the most at home at SSR. Mark Chenovick (Projection Design) has designed projections for over 100 shows in the last ten years. Prior to that he worked with CJS design, a website design and hosting company, developing custom websites for clients ranging from Draper Valley Farms to Seattle Film Group. He also co-created and ran the now defunct SeattleActor.com, a website focused on Seattle area theater, featuring audition listings, helpful articles, and show reviews. In addition to projections, Mark also designs all of the marketing materials you see at SSR including; posters, show graphics, and website. All my love to Jen. Enjoy the show!
