John Clark (Scrooge) is again delighted, and honored to be back playing Scrooge in A Christmas Carol for the fourth straight year here at SecondStory Rep. You may remember him in other shows here such as Walter in Keely and Du, Orgon in Tartuffe, Antonio in Much Ado About Nothing, and Orsini Rosenberg in Amadeus. Most recently he was in Port Townsend at Key City Public Theatre playing Lord Edgar, and Jane the house keeper in The Mystery of Irma Vep. He has also performed at The Seattle Rep, Village Theatre, Empty Space, Pioneer Sq. quiet, Stone Soup, The Virginia City Players, Driftwood and many others around the Seattle area and beyond. This last year he has appeared in 5 by Beckett with Sound Theatre, The Lower Depths with Theatre Machine, and I Gelosi with STAGEright. Other favorite roles include: Ellard in The Foreigner, Rosencrantz in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Mozart in Amadeus, The Old Man in Fool for Love, Dr Chausible in The Importance of Being Earnest, and Clov in Samuel Beckett’s Endgame. Jalyn Green (Bob Cratchit) is wassailled to be returning not only to this production but also to play Bob Cratchit again. Previously at SecondStory he's also originated Fred in Christmas Carol, as well as appearing in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Born Yesterday and Much Ado About Nothing. He was, along with the rest of his cast, nominated for a Broadway World Award for Best Actor in the Broadway World winning production of The Pillowman at SecondStory as well. He has also worked with Book it Rep, Theatre Schmeater, Ghost Light Theatricals, Greenstage, and Shakespeare Northwest to name a few. Love to his friends, family and of course The Cheat! Britt Boyd (Beth/Rose/Ensemble) is delighted to return to A Christmas Carol for a second year! She was most recently seen on SecondStory's mainstage in Little Shop of Horrors (Chiffon) and Legally Blonde (Paulette). Other favorite local credits include The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods (Seattle Musical Theatre), Mrs. Armstrong in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Seattle Public Theatre) and Martha in The Secret Garden (Kitsap Forest Theater). She has performed locally with Village Theatre, ACT, Living Voices, Theater Schmeater and STAGEright. Cheers!

Ethan Lech (Christmas Past/Ebby/Turkey Boy/Ensemble) is honored to be returning to SSR for his third year of performing in A Christmas Carol. Ethan’s other credits include: Carousel (5th Avenue), A Christmas Carol (SSR - 2014), Peter Pan (Lyric Light Opera), Oliver! (5th Avenue), Twilight Zone Live (Theater Schmeater) and A Christmas Carol (SSR - 2012). And to think, his love of acting all started back in 2010 at SSR’s Broadway Babies class! Besides acting, Ethan’s passions include singing, dancing and football. Ethan would like to thank his friends and family for all their love and support. Savannah Lech (Tiny Tim/Ensemble) is thrilled to be returning to SSR after appearing as Tiny Tim in last year’s production of A Christmas Carol. Besides acting, she is very passionate about drawing and dancing. If she’s not in an art class, she lives at the dance studio, where she is being trained in the styles of ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap and hip-hop. Savannah would like to thank SSR for this wonderful opportunity and sends lots of love to her friends and family. She would also like to thank Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Darrell and Aunt Nettsie for always supporting her in everything she does. God bless us everyone!

Hayley Ewerz (Mrs. Cratchit/Quartet) is returning to SSR after performing as Brooke in Legally Blonde! Her favorite rendition of this Dickens tale is The Muppet Christmas Carol, and she is positively giddy to finally be able to say she shared a role with one of the greats- Miss Piggy. Since moving to Seattle three years ago from Dallas, she has performed with Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre, Renton Civic Theatre, Seattle Musical Theatre, and Driftwood Players. Favorites include Jolene (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) and Kathy (Singin’ in the Rain). Special dedication to The Squolf, cast, and crew for their remarkable talent in making this production possible. Love to her husband JW, and her Mom for never hesitating to fly thousands of miles to watch her perform.

Connor Flynn (Peter Cratchit) is thrilled to be performing in SecondStory’s production of A Christmas Carol, a dream of his for a long time! Connor has been involved in drama since he was 4, acting in drama camps with Eastside Drama Kids and getting instruction at SecondStory Repertory. He is active in the drama program at Rosa Parks Elementary, performing in the last three Spring shows, including Memories as Chief Weasel Brown. In 2014 Connor performed in his church musical entitled Kids Court. He currently studies musical theater at Redmond Academy of Theatre Arts, where he played Peter (Peter Pan) and General Shang (Mulan). Beyond acting, Connor enjoys football, baseball, skiing, reading, Cub Scouts, and spending time with his friends!

Sydney Kaser (Mrs. Dilber/ Quartet) is thrilled to make her SecondStory Repertory debut in A Christmas Carol. Previous credits include The Wizard of Oz (Women’s Ensemble, Dance Captain) with Driftwood Players, and Narnia (Mrs. Beaver, Dance Captain) and A 1950s Rock n’ Roll Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena) with Kitsap Forest Theater. Chelsea Moe (Christmas Future/Jane) Nothing gets Chelsea in the Christmas spirit more than A Christmas Carol! This is Chelsea's second year performing in this show at SecondStory Rep, and she couldn't be happier to be reprising her role of The Ghost of Christmas Future. Other credits include Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel in Into the Woods, Ensemble in Sweeney Todd, Little Red in Little Red Riding Hood, Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors, and Annabelle Lee in Still Life With Iris. Chelsea would like to give a big thanks to her cat Duck, for being Duck, and to her Fiance for supporting her theater addiction.

Curtis Jacobson (Solicitor/Old Joe/Ensemble) is delighted to join the cast of A Christmas Carol. He has been seen here at SecondStory in many of the Theater for Young Audiences, The Fish in Cat in the Hat, Father in Alexander and the Horrible Terrible Very Bad Day, and brought the house down with his hilarious and brilliant take on Grandma in Little Red Riding Hood. Curtis received is BF A in Acting from Northern Arizona University School of Performing Arts. Happy Holidays one and all.

Samantha Holsworth (Ensemble) is excited to spend Christmas with The Squolf! In Seattle she has been seen onstage at Renton Civic, Theater Schmeater, Ghostlight Theatricals and SecondStory Repertory. She served as the Education Director for SSR and Pensacola Little Theatre in Pensacola, FL. Locally she has worked as a director and stage manager at Lungfish Productions, SSR, Broadway Bound, Village KIDSTAGE, Ghostlight, and Wilder Elementary School. As a seamstress/wardrobe mistress her work has been seen in The Robbie Turner Revue, Live Wires!, Seattle Musical Theatre, SSR, Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society. BA Theatre, Florida State University. Program Certificates, Theatre Academy London and UW PCE Directing For Stage & Screen. She was very lucky to grow up in a family that trusts passion and owes much and more to them. Love love love to Matthew.

Amanda Burke (Ensemble) is very excited to be in her first SecondStory Rep production. Previous favorite roles include Molly at 12 in "Jake's Women" (Mount Baker Theatre Summer Rep), JoJo in "Seussical" (Seattle Musical Theatre), and Maxine in "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" (Evergreen Family Theatre). Amanda enjoys gymnastics, horseback riding, and singing in her junior high's advanced choir. Special thanks to the wonderful cast and creative team, and to her family!

Emma Manacano (Ensemble) is in 7th grade and she is ecstatic to be making her SecondStory Repertory debut! Favorite past roles include: “Alice” in Through the Looking Glass (Renaissance School of Art and Reasoning) and “Tinker Bell” in Peter Pan (Studio East). In her spare time, Emma enjoys playing the piano and sketching. Thanks to her acting coach Marianni Groves for her encouragement!

Christina Masson (Stage Manager) "A Christmas Carol" & "A Christmas Carol Jr" mark the 12th & 13th shows where she will be hiding in the booth here at SSR, including the 2012 installment of this holiday classic. Jen Chenovick (Light Design) Jen's theatrical career began in 2002 when she was asked to assistant stage manage The Importance of Being Ernest right here at SSR. Following her passion for theater Jen moved to Hollywood in 2005 where she stage managed for The Blank Theatre including the oddly satisfying Lobster Alice starring Noah Wylie and Nicholas Brendon. While in California, she also worked with Syzygy Theatre Group and the World Premiere of Tender, Abi Morgan’s trenchant drama of the human hunger for connection. Jen moved back to Redmond in 2007 and jumped right back into her work with SSR. During her eighteen plus years at SSR Jen has worn many hats, from stage manager to production manager to managing director and now light design. Special thanks to my parents, they’re pretty cool.

Mark Chenovick (Set Design/Technical Director) has been designing, building, and painting sets since the mid-eighties. Having the fortune to begin his theatrical career under the tutelage of Don McLaughlin in his hometown of Helena Montana, Mark continued his training at the University of Washington where he was accepted into the Graduate Design Seminar his sophomore year. With subsequent degrees in Art History and Drama, Mark went on to serve as technical director/designer for multiple organizations including: Virginia Musical Theatre, Fort Peck Summer Theatre, the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, Little Theater of the Rockies, and the Norfolk Governor’s School for the Arts. As Technical Director/Production Manager of the national tour of Anything Goes (starring Gloria Loring) Mark travelled around the United States and Canada realizing that there is no place quite as wonderful as the Pacific Northwest. Shortly after the turn of the millennium, and following a brief stint as a carpenter at The Studio Theatre in Washington D.C., he moved back to Seattle. Locally he has worked behind the scenes for the Village Theatre, Seattle Musical Theatre, Redwood Theatre, and, of course, SecondStory Repertory.

Mark Chenovick (Sound Design) I began my sound design journey splicing reel-to-reel tape together in the basement of the original Penthouse Theater on the University of Washington campus but it was my brief time in the MFA program at Utah State University, where I learned the joys of digital sound design, and subsequently, became hooked on sound design for life. Having provided composed and curated underscoring and soundscaping, original and sourced sound effects, and performance amplification services for multiple theaters across the US, I have felt the most at home at SSR. Mark Chenovick (Projection Design) has designed projections for over 100 shows in the last ten years. Prior to that he worked with CJS design, a website design and hosting company, developing custom websites for clients ranging from Draper Valley Farms to Seattle Film Group. He also co-created and ran the now defunct SeattleActor.com, a website focused on Seattle area theater, featuring audition listings, helpful articles, and show reviews. In addition to projections, Mark also designs all of the marketing materials you see at SSR including; posters, show graphics, and website. All my love to Jen. Enjoy the show!
